The beating heart of Colle Alberti is the cellar. Built as an annex to the main villa, the cellar is home to more than 55 concrete vats, capable of storing all 3200/3500 hectoliters of wine produced by the farm annually. In the attic you find the “vinsantaia”, with 30 oak casks used to age Vin Santo del Chianti and Vin Santo Occhio Di Pernice. Being located in the attic allows the casks to be exposed to large seasonal changes in temperature that result in the unique characteristics or our award-winning Vinsanto Di Colle Alberti.

Adjacent to the cellar is the old mill. No longer in use as a mill, today it houses a private collection of traditional agricultural tools. Visitors can view rare antique farm equipment from iron and wooden plows to traditional olive mills and much more.
Perfectly combining Colle Alberti’s core ethos forging new paths but never losing sight of the estate’s rich history and traditions.
